1 (*)FUCK
Про одно это слово есть целая монография ("The F Word", J. Sheidlower, Ed., Random House, New York, 1999.). Ассоциации с ним смешат и шокируют (см. рис. (Fucking - название немецкого местечка) к слову howler (HOWL)).B принципе, если иметь в виду буквальный перевод и связанные с этим словом русские производные, американское употребление становится довольно понятным. Мозги-то похоже работают, как и все остальные части тела.Буквально "fuck" это - трахать, иметь (*бать), а также сами "трахающиеся". Синонимы (тоже вульгарные(*)): lay, screw, ball, bang, hump, shaft. Официальные термины: copulate (with), have coitus, have sexual intercourse, fornicate.Приведем популярные сочетания и некоторые неочевидные ассоциации.To fuck — помимо прямого значения, в переносном смысле означает обмануть, надуть (на*бать).
Fucking-A — точно!, здорово! (за*бись!)
Fuck yes! (Fuck no!) — это просто резкое, сильное yes или no. Fuck употребляется здесь в до боли знакомом качестве - для связки и усиления (их матершинники делают это, как и наши, через слово).
What the fuck? — просто сильное what (типа нашего: "Что за *б твою мать?"). Мы встречали и рекламу с ярким девизом what the fuck!
Fuck off!
To not give a fuck — не заботиться.
F.U.! — сокращенная форма "Fuck you!", по звучанию. Это употребление по звучанию (например "U" взамен "you") распространено - прямо очень (еще примеры: 2=to(two), 4=for (four), R=are.) К слову, F.Y. - это "финансовый год" ( fiscal year), без всяких ассоциаций с "Fuck you!".
To fuck around — может означать и просто болтаться без дела, и, совершенно напротив, только этим делом и заниматься, around.
Full of fuck — могучий, мужественный, полный сил.
To mindfuck — да, вы правильно догадались, делать это самое с мозгами, в точности так у нас о бездельниках и плутах говорят.
Синонимы-эвфемизмы fuck: eff, effer, effing, eff off, enob, ferk, firk, fiddle-bow, fiddlestick, flame, flip, fork, frick, frig, frock, funk, fuss, futz.Наиболее популярные мягкие формы: "four-letter word", "F-word". Смягчение для fucking - "F-ing", для бессмысленного, но наполненного эмоциями, восклицания "fuck!" - "fooey!" (да, фуй!). Последнее слово выглядит мягко, но полезно помнить, что оно на самом деле заменяет, и что "fooey on him!" фактически означает "fuck him!" Еще синонимы - to poke, to romp.Дадим несколько характерных иллюстраций.1. Пара фраз для прикола.Получив от нас "низшее лингвистическое", вы теперь легко переведете фразы: "Fuck you very much!" и "Fuck you, sir!". Правда, звучат они очень похоже на хорошо вам известные: "Thank you very much!" и "Thank you, sir!"? -

you there! — ¡oye, tú!YOU When translating you, even though you often need not use the pronoun itself, you will have to choose between using familiar tú/vosotros verb forms and the polite usted/ ustedes ones. ► In Spain, use tú and the plural vosotros/ vosotras with anyone you call by their first name, with children and younger adults. Use usted/ ustedes with people who are older than you, those in authority and in formal contexts. ► In Latin America usage varies depending on the country and in some places only the usted forms are used. Where the tú form does exist, only use it with people you know very well. In other areas vos, used with verb forms that are similar to the vosotros ones, often replaces tú. This is standard in Argentina and certain Central American countries while in other countries it is considered substandard. Use ustedes for all cases of you in the plural. For further uses and examples, see main entry•
